My old man reckoned Vic Keeble headed one in from about 40 yards... I think it goes up a yard every year....

McAvennie got a few corking headers.... really underated he was in the air... as was Morley...

Dowies own goal in the cup was not bad either !!

If we're not talking strictly about West Ham, then Carroll's for England against Sweden was superb.

His first for the club wasn't it?

Late 80's early 90's Iain DOWIE's late headed winner against Barnsley. We came from behind to win 3-2.

Also John HARTSON up at Blackburn in the FA Cup 5th round replay.

Brooking, 1st goal against Eintracht in Cup Winners Cup 1976.
Scored a surprising amount of good headers did Tricky Trev.
